Mountain Paradise
Nestled on the ancient volcanic Lebombo Mountains of northern KwaZulu-Natal lies Kube Yini Private Game Reserve. Kube Yini has unsurpassed breath-taking views of Northern Zululand including False Bay, St Lucia Lake, MunYaWana (Phinda Private Game Reserve) Conservancy and the Makatini Flats. The reserve shares borders with Mkuze Game Reserve, MunYaWana Game Reserve and KwaNgwenya Tribal Authority along the Msunduzi River. The mountainous topography with grassy plateaus receives year-round breezes alleviating the sub-tropical climate and is malaria-free.
Kube Yini Private Game Reserve lies at the southernmost end of the Lebombo Mountains (which form part of the Great Rift Valley) an area of natural beauty and biodiversity. There are diverse birding opportunities, a wide variety of vegetation types, prime forest, savannah to true Zululand bushveld, and exceptional game sightings. Kube Yini Private Game Reserve recently became a Proclaimed Nature Reserve. The Shareblock consists of 50 shares (sites/ lodges/ homes) each with the right to construct a lodge on a designated site. All 50 sites are privately owned. To date, there are only three sites which have not been developed. The reserve comprises 1214 hectares for the shareholders to enjoy.
